Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 24, 2026
Welcome to 2fa.bd (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Service”). By accessing or using our website at https://2fa.bd/ (“Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Description of Service
2fa.bd provides a free, browser-based tool that generates Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) verification codes in accordance with the RFC 6238 standard. Users may enter a secret key issued by a third-party platform (such as Google, Facebook, Binance, GitHub, or any service supporting standard TOTP-based two-factor authentication) to generate a corresponding 6-digit verification code.
All code generation occurs entirely within the user’s web browser using client-side JavaScript. We do not transmit, receive, store, or process any secret keys on our servers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use this Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. No Account Required
The Service does not require registration, an account, or the submission of personal information to function.
4. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree that:
- You are solely responsible for the security, confidentiality, and lawful use of any secret keys you enter into the Site.
- You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to unauthorized access to third-party accounts.
- You understand that TOTP codes generated through this tool grant access to sensitive accounts, and you accept full responsibility for safeguarding your devices, browser, and network environment while using the Service.
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its underlying infrastructure.
5. No Storage of Secret Keys
We do not store, log, cache, or transmit any secret key entered into the Site. All computation is performed locally in your browser. We have no technical ability to view, recover, or retrieve any secret key you enter, and we cannot assist in recovering lost or mistyped keys.
6. Third-Party Platforms
2fa.bd is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Facebook, Binance, GitHub, Authy, or any other platform referenced on this Site. All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive and comparative purposes.
7. Advertising
The Site may display third-party advertisements to support the free operation of the Service. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements and are not responsible for any products, services, or claims made by advertisers.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE AT ALL TIMES.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 2FA.BD AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF ACCOUNT ACCESS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCOUNT ACCESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk, and that we are not responsible for any loss of access to third-party accounts resulting from the use, misuse, or malfunction of generated codes.
10. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice.
